Desk analysis and conditional selections

We distinguish manufacturer specifications, desk analysis and hands-on tests. A desk review carries a clear label, sources, a verification date and limits, and receives no performance score. Conditional desk selections follow a declared use case and do not count toward test-qualified Best Picks. A frequency, TDP or manufacturer claim is not a BYT01 measurement. A score requires a real sample, documented test conditions and repeatable results. External laboratory results remain attributed to their source and method; incompatible tests are not merged into one ranking.
