PICKS THAT EARN THEIR PLACE

Best-list status and selection criteria

Start with buying guides and documented analyses for your needs. Best Picks will appear here when their supporting evidence is complete.

Documented desk selections

Conditional choices by use case. These are not hands-on rankings and do not count toward the test-qualified lists below.

CPU choices by platform and upgrade path

Consider this record when planning an AM5 system around a six-core, 12-thread processor. The documented boxed version includes a cooler, so check package identity before adding cooling cost. A DDR5 motherboard, supported BIOS and a compatible memory kit are still required.

Graphics card choices: memory and installation checks

The two ZOTAC Twin Edge records both specify an 8GB GPU memory capacity. NVIDIA identifies GDDR6 for RTX 4060 and GDDR7 for RTX 5060. This difference does not establish a frame-rate result or prove that 8GB will be sufficient for every game or application.

Launch status

No list is qualified for publication yet

Explore documented analyses and buying guides while no list is qualified. Desk analysis explains specifications and sources; it is not hands-on testing or a basis for ranking products.

Selection method and coverage status

Each list requires at least three qualified products in the same category, documented hands-on tests, and clear selection reasons and limitations. The details below explain eligibility and current coverage.

Editorial policy

A score does not create a ranking

After the evidence gate passes, an editor assigns each position to a declared use case and writes its reason and limits in both languages. The page never auto-sorts products by score.

Transparency questions

How do we prevent fake best lists?

Why are there no recommendations yet?

BYT01 has not yet published three qualified hands-on tests in one category. We show the system state instead of filling a list with specifications or invented scores.

Does the highest score automatically become number one?

No. A score is only an eligibility gate. An editor assigns the position for a declared use case, market and budget and explains the reason and limits.

Can a company pay to appear in the list?

No. Eligibility and position cannot be purchased. Affiliate links, when present, are disclosed and do not enter the ranking decision.
